Hello there! this is Daimary john and in this post, I will be teaching you how to secure your YouTube account and your valuable contents.
So, I’m gonna be breaking it down into 2 sections. Account and Content.
1. Set a strong password
You will find this tip almost everywhere on the net. Because it’s actually really very effective.
You see, most people they generally keep a password based on their pet’s name, mother’s name, or even more commonly: boyfriend or girlfriend’s name! I’ve seen many people doing this. Sometimes I also see my friend’s using their phone number as their password.
See the way how hackers hack is pretty simple. Through your email ID. Mostly, the email ID that you use to log in, are most often made “Public” by “You” yourself. So If I would ever have to hack your account,. I would simply type in your email ID and slowly try to enter your account by everything above.
2. Change your password frequently
It’s very important to change Your password frequently. It’s a pretty basic practice to safeguard your account.
3. Hide your email ID
Every place where you provide your contact details, don’t share your email ID! (the one you use to log in). Use a different email for your “Fan” and everyone else who would like to have a conversation with you. This way you can sleep peace of mind.
1. Signature clip
You must have seen videos with a short clip that plays before the actual video. It not only increases your videos reputation, but it also defines that the “Particular video” belongs to this “Particular person or a company”.
2. show your face
Thieves always keep searching for the very popular videos which they could use in their very own videos. Generally those videos are targeted which do not have any “Face” shown on the video. So for example: A video of “Me” reviewing an iPhone X on my channel, it’s mine ,. And in your channel, It’s “Yours”.
Note- Don’t mind that photo.
This has to be it. The long tradition of safeguarding your videos and almost everything that belongs to you. Watermarks are those “Names” and or “Logos” that are displayed “Always” on one’s video. Commonly on the “Left bottom” and “Top Right Corner” of the video.
