Hey? it’s me John ! again..I’ve been seeing some frequent thefts on YouTube. Might not be an account theft , but commonly it’s “Contents” .! It’s really very sad to see one’s hard work being stole’d. Last time I remember was a video of a guy, I’am sure you guyz know him. He runs a channel “EverythingApplePro”.But I actually saw him on another channel He was giving a First time look at the “iPhone X” before it’s launch . And the very next day, I saw the same Video at another’s man’s channel.! He was an “Indian” . I saw him dubbing his video Don’t know what really he was thinking .man??? “Bharat ka naam mitti me mila diya”. So here i present you these very basic but an important approach towards “Security” . Some tips and methods to protect both your YouTube account and your valuable contents. I’m gonna be breaking it into 2 sections. So here is How To Secure Your YouTube Account And Your Valuable Contents .
1. Choose a strong Password
You will find this tip almost everywhere on the net . But it’s actually really very effective. You see, Most people they generally keep a password based on their Pet’s name, Mother’s name, or even more commonly- Boyfriend or Girlfriend’s name! I’ve seen many people doing this. Sometimes I also see my friend’s using their phone no. as their password.
See the way how Hackers hack is pretty simple. Through your E-Mail id. Mostly , The E-Mail id that you use to log in, are most often made “Public” by “You” yourself So If I would ever Have to hack your Acc ,. I would simply type in your Email id and slowly try to enter your Acc by everything above.
2. Change Your Password Frequently
It’s very important to change Your password frequently. It’s a very pretty basic practice to safeguard your account.
3. Hide Your Email Id
Every place where you provide your contact details, don’t share your Email Id! Use a different Email for your “Fan’s” and everyone else who would like to have a conversation with you. This way you can sleep “Peace Of Mind” .
1. Signature Clip
You must have seen videos with a short clip that plays before the actual video. It not only increases your videos reputation, but it also defines that the “Particular video” belongs to this “Particular person or a company”.
2. show Your Face
Thieves always keep searching for the very popular videos which they could use in their very own videos. Generally those videos are targeted which do not have any “Face” shown on the video. So for example: A video of “Me” reviewing an iPhone X on my channel, it’s mine ,. And on Your channel , It’s “Yours”.
